About

This web site was born in order to bring new life and energy in one of the oldest community related to mobile in Italy (mobile.actionscript.it).

The aim of this community is to share as much as possible information related to the mobile design and development using all the social networks and the new capabilities of the NET to make easier find updated contents and to create a deep feeling of connection between developers.

The web site is based upon the WordPress platform that has been integrated and customized by the founder and the co-founders of MobileRevamp.org. This web site is proudly part of the Adobe User Groups program and of the Java User Groups program.

We love to share with all our readers what we mean by community.

Community

This term refers to a group of people who share a common interest in a certain area and discuss it publicly on the web. This gathering is not connected to any particular place or country; rather, an online community is in itself a place that anyone can join and contribute to through the internet.

The heart of a community is the resource sharing systems that it offers (forums, guides, etc.) and the spirit with which members participate, sharing their knowledge and experience. When you join a community you find yourself in a place where you are free to exchange thoughts, propose ideas, discuss areas of common interest, learn and share.

This scenario is governed by a feeling of common information exchange, where there will always be some who contribute more and some who contribute less. But the exchange of information that forms the foundation of a community has to take place without expecting anything in return.

This is essentially the concept of community that we share and implement and that makes MobileRevamp.org not a place of self-promotion or advancement but a place where we can share our experience and our knowledge.

All of the content published in the forum is released as open source under the Creative Commons license because we firmly believe in the circulation of free software. The community belongs to everyone and for this reason anyone can join, regardless of their know-how, provided that they believe in our guiding principles.
